So, what is a Team YES Speaks member by ADH-TPCP definition? Criteria for Yes Team Speaks Members from the Arkansas Department of Health Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Branch _______________________________________________________________
1. Must be aware of Arkansas' and the Nation's current youth tobacco related statistics
2. Must be informed on new tactics that the tobacco industry’s uses to attract youth smokers
3. Must be able to provide quotes when asked about how the tobacco industry views smokers
4. Must know what their school tobacco policy is
5. Must know which colleges in Arkansas are Tobacco free
6. Be familiar with the SOS website in order to inform youth of the competitions/contest that are taking place
7. Know what Act 13 is
8. Do one collaborative project with City Year (if this works for you I will set it up)
9. Do at least one collaborative project with ADH (State Fair, Riverfest (maybe) Oxygen Project, or another project-like the Service Learning Project)
10. Be passionate, committed, and enthusiastic about Youth Extinguishing Smoking
